Zero Contest 2014 - Tokyo #2 - “B”eeps (closer ver.)
Watching this kind of things and noticing a feeling of affection and vicinance, as if you were watching some close friends, sisters, daughters…someone you care about doing something important for them, is I think very important in “defining” someone as a fan.
Finally I spare the time to watch the video as I know I have to look at it in a fellow dancer’s perspective. I am not the best dancer out there but I was part of the crew that won the state title before. so there is my resume to back up my opinion.
First of all, I think this was great although I have no idea what’s the quality of their opponents. I can easily feel that they deserve B+ for such a well-polished performance. I have no idea how high the level of the competition but from the result, It clearly showed that they weren’t good enough yet.
there were moment when either one of them did the move split seconds earlier or later. it would definitely put them in bad position considering coordination (PERFECT coordination) is the key and the strength of their dance was not there. but let’s not be harsh on their debut in a legit competition… for all we know, it’s due to their competition being a pro longer than they are.. :)
all in all, the girls did well. but especially for Yukko, who actually going to try her hand on dancing at the highest level, she has a long long way to go.. I seen many great female dancers and Yukko is nowhere near them yet. but I know Yukko and I know she gonna be equal or better than them in near future as long as she is giving her all and didn’t give up easily :D
Star of the performance without doubt is Yukko as she is the only one with highest energy among the 4.. :)
